Project overview
Crieff Hydro wanted to elevate the online presence of their Victorian Baths by offering prospective guests more than static images and slideshow galleries. With a wide range of facilities, from pool to pool-side treatments, they aimed to:
- Boost confidence and bookings for leisure and spa guests
- Reassure prospective guests about accessibility and amenities
- Show off the stunning design of their pool, spa, and relaxation spaces
- Do something no other hotel had ever done before – a virtual tour in-water
Our approach
To capture 360 imagery from inside the pool, we deployed our most stable tripod, positioning the camera at water level to give an immersive experience where visitors could feel they were there, getting their toes wet.
Each step (or stroke) down the pool required patience, setting up at each position, carefully getting out of the pool and waiting for the ripples in the water to stop, before clicking the shutter button.
